***Coronavirus (COVID 19) Update****

The Church continues to be alive and active, but our buildings must close

Click on Sunday worship to watch a video of our vicar Caroline delivering this week's service from her home.

We are seeing a huge increase in the number of people falling sick with COVID-19. We must distance ourselves from one another and prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives. Therefore, as well as public worship being suspended, St Luke's and all church buildings in the Church of England are now closed. But our worship of God and our care for each other continue.

We have set up a special page on this site to share prayers and thoughts at this difficult time. You can view it here. You can also join in an act of spiritual communion every Sunday at10am and Wednesday at 11 am as the Vicar celebrates Holy Communion at home. Please see the services page for liturgy to use.

You can also join our Facebook page St Lukes TW community for regular messages and updates.

There is also an email group you can join for mutual support- if you would like to join one please contact Caroline on caroline.glass@stlukestw.co.uk

The Church of England is publishing regular guidance for churches which we are following. You can find this on their website www.churchofengland.org. You can also click here for details of how to access services on line or via the radio.

About St Luke's

We are a lively, growing church in Tunbridge Wells, middle of the road in tradition. We seek to be a warm, friendly and open community welcoming to all, especially newcomers, and those coming to us for baptisms, weddings and funerals.

Our vision statement sums up what we are about;

'St Luke's Church seeks to be at the heart of the community, there for all, helping people to explore their faith and share the love of God'
