St Luke's re-opening from Sunday 19th July
St Luke's will re-open for Sunday services starting from Sunday 19th July at 10 a.m. The services will need to be slightly different to normal worship as we make adjustments to maintain social distancing. Click here to find out the adaptations we will be making to ensure your safety.
In the meantime, virtual services will continue as usual. Click Sunday worship to watch a video of our vicar Caroline delivering this week's service from her home.
We are delighted to confirm that the church will now be open for private prayer at the times listed below. Do come along to sit and listen to quiet music, to pray and light a candle for loved ones or those especially on your heart at present in their need. You would be very welcome indeed.
We have set up a special page on this site to share prayers and thoughts at this difficult time. You can view it here. You can also join our Facebook page St Lukes TW community for regular messages and updates.
There is also an email group you can join for mutual support- if you would like to join one please contact Caroline on email@example.com
The Church of England is publishing regular guidance for churches which we are following. You can find this on their website www.churchofengland.org. You can also click here for details of how to access services on line or via the radio.
About St Luke's
We are a lively, growing church in Tunbridge Wells, middle of the road in tradition. We seek to be a warm, friendly and open community welcoming to all, especially newcomers, and those coming to us for baptisms, weddings and funerals.
Our vision statement sums up what we are about;
'St Luke's Church seeks to be at the heart of the community, there for all, helping people to explore their faith and share the love of God'
